Our Beloved Max Ray Tubbs, age 78, of Austin, Texas, was called home by our Heavenly Father, on Friday, February 24, 2017.
Mr. Tubbs was born in Lexington, Tennessee, on May 2, 1938. He married Betty Tubbs on December 18, 1959, in Memphis, Tennessee. Mr. Tubbs was a veteran of the Vietnam, and served in the US Air Force. He retired after 26 years of service.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Betty V. Tubbs; his sons, Max and Mike Tubbs; his daughter Linda Soto; his grandson Matthew Soto; his brother Danny Tubbs; sister, Judy Seawell; his brother, Jerry Hulen; and numerous other loving family and friends.
A Committal Service will be held at 11:15 A.M., Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas, with full Air Force Honors. Services will be under the direction of Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel.
