Our beloved Senaida “Sandy” Selvera Moreno, age 67, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, February 11, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucas G. Selvera and Lillie Soto Selvera; and her brothers and sisters Lucas Selvera, Jr., Trinie Lopez, and Arthur Selvera, Jr.
Sandy is survived by her sons, Pete Moreno, III, and Tomás Moreno; former spouse, Pete O. Moreno, Jr.; precious grandchildren Kaitlyn and Isabella Moreno; and sisters Adela Morales and husband Guadalupe, and Janie Arroyo and husband Augustine; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 14, 2017 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 15, 2017, Cristo Rey Catholic Church, located at the corner of Robert T. Martinez Jr. St. and East 2nd St., Austin, Texas. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
