Micheal Shane Will, age 36, resident of Austin passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Shamberger, and grandparents, Cecil and Rena B. Will. He is survived by his fiancé, Whitney Clare Young; his mom and dad, Carolee and Ken Will; grandmother, Betty Shamberger; brothers, Jon Will and his wife, Veronica, and Eric Will; his niece Lillyan Victoria Will, and numerous other loving family members and friends. Shane was an open and caring person; respectful and loyal to all. He developed a love of string instruments from his grandmother, Betty Shamberger, who taught him the violin. He was an expert at guitar and played with many bands. He was a car, truck, and sports enthusiast who really knew what he was talking about. He had a tremendous intellect, quick to research any subject in order to gain a better understanding of the world around him. He was the best person and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A Memorial Service will begin at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, February 11, 2017, Mission Funeral Home, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas. Services for Shane will conclude at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family of Shane Will request that donations be made in his honor to the ACLU, American Civil Liberties Union.
