Our Beloved Angel, Mireya Yesika Tijerina, was called home by our Heavenly Father, on Monday, December 26, 2016.
Our precious Mireya is survived by her loving parents, Jennifer Alvarez, and Robert Tijerina; her brothers, Robert Julian Tijerina, and Alex Rios Rodriguez; her grandparents, Chris and Debbie Alvarez, and Robert and Cindy Tijerina; her great-grandmother, Sarah Mercado; and her aunts and uncles, Carmelo and Amanda Rios, Christopher and Rubina Alvarez, Sheila Tijerina, Monica Escobar, and Rocky Tijerina; as well as numerous other loving family and friends.
The family wishes to send a heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses, and respiratory staff at Dell Children's Hospital.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., Friday, December 30, 2016, at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 South First Street, Austin, Texas. This will conclude services.
