Our Beloved Lucia Diaz, age 82, was called to our Heavenly Father, early morning December 25, 2016. She was surrounded by her family and love. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joe "Trapia" Guzman and her second husband, Domingo Diaz; her son, Joe Guzman, her brothers and sisters, Elisa Santana, Adelina Santana, Margarita Santana, Elvira Santana, Jesus Santana, Jose Garcia, Jane Garcia, Jesus Garcia, Joe Garcia, and Beatrice Garcia and her parents, Isidro Garcia and Maria Aleman. Lucia is survived by her children, Cynthia Sanchez and husband, Pete, Janet Cardenas and husband, Frank, Debra M. Diaz, Darrell Diaz and Debra A. Diaz, Desi Diaz and wife, Melissa, Donald "Donny" Diaz, Dulce Bryant, Demetria Santillian and husband, Reynaldo; her brothers and sisters, Peter Garcia, Murice Garcia, Mary Lou Garcia, Romona Garcia, Anthony Garcia, Elena Santana, Richard Santana, and Linda Santana; 30 grandchildren, 75 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, December 29, 2016, Mission Funeral Home (East), 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 30, 2016, Mission Funeral Home (East). Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
