Our Beloved Alicia Cantu, 83, was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, December 7, 2016.
Alicia was preceded in death by her parents Tomas and Romana Salinas and her beloved husband of 53 years, Ricardo Cantu.
Alicia is survived by her daughters: Maria (Kurt) Kind, Mercedes (Anthony) Gomez, Lorena Cantu, Irma Cantu and Marta Cantu; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Gilberta "Berta" Chavez for her unwavering support and care of our mother.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 South First Street, Austin, Texas 78745. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, December 12, 2016 at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel. Interment will follow at Live Oak Cemetery.
