Our beloved Altagracia Valdez Castaños, age 97, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, December 3, 2016. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Enrique Castaños; her sons, Juan David PiñaValdez and Miguelito Piña Valdez; her parents, Miguel Valdez and Romanita Martinez Olivas; her brothers Jose Valdez, Pedro Valdez, Benjamin Valdez, Samuel Valdez, and Abraham Valdez; her sisters Eva Valdez, Dalila Valdez, Mariana Valdez, and Abigael Valdez; her grandson, Juan Javier Cotera; her sister-in-law, Guillermina Valdez; and her brother-in-law, Miguel Ponce. Altagracia is survived by her beloved children, Martha P. Cotera and husband Juan Estanislao Cotera, and Osbelia Luna and husband Ramon; her precious grandchildren, Jose Luna, Patricia Risinger, Martha Silvia, Osbelia “Velia” Worden, Monica Minjares, and Maria Eugenia Cotera; her treasured great grandchildren Jackie Risinger, Sandy Risinger, Dallas Gidcumb, Stephan Boughton, Ramon Silvia, Anthony Silvia, Emily Silvia, Joseph Silvia, Penelope Wright Cotera, Ronnie Minjares, Isaih Minjares, and Mary Jo Luna; and two great-great grandchildren; her brothers Marcos Valdez and wife Graciela, and Jacobo Valdez; and sister Rebeca Ponce; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
