Our beloved Estella B. Riojas, age 79, was called home by our Heavenly Father, on Sunday, November 20, 2016, in Austin Texas. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Pablo N. Riojas; her parents, Meliton and Leonor R. Barrera; her sister, Anita B. Terrazas; and her brothers, Arturo R. Barrera, Rodolfo R. Barrera, and Martin R. Orta. Estella is survived by her loving children, Jose Pablo and his wife, Margaret Riojas, Raul and his wife, Bilma Riojas, Gerardo and his wife, Melissa Riojas, Ruben and his wife, Cynthia Riojas, Mario and his wife, Vickie Riojas, Joe Gilbert and his wife, Ashley Riojas, Mary Alice and her husband, Julio Ojeda, Irene and her husband, Eugenio Garcia, Sylvia and her husband, Robert Estrada, and Yolanda Riojas; brothers, Milton R. Barrera, Andrew R. Orta, Ray R. Orta; and her sisters, Aurora B. Suarez, and Eva B. Mendoza. 37 grandchildren, 69 great-grandchildren, 8 great great-grandchildren, as well as numerous other loving family and friends. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to A*Med Hospice and their staff, Tauna and Anna, for their warmth and kindness toward our mother during her illness, and to our family during our moment of sorrow. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., on Tuesday, November 22, 2016, with recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S. First Street, Austin, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at St. Paul Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery.
