Obituary of Martin L. Escamilla
Please share a memory of Martin to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Our Beloved Martin L. Escamilla, age 62, was called home by our Heavenly Father, on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 in Austin, Texas.
He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; his daughters, Elizabeth Escamilla, Trisha Escamilla, Amy Berg, and Dolores Escamilla; his grandchildren, Adam Escamilla, Mya Terrazas, Evan Flores, Mikayla Berg, and Molly Berg; as well as numerous other loving family and friends.
Martin was a native to Austin and he absolutely loved the Longhorns. He served in the Army and worked at UT Austin until his retirement. He was a hard worker and always did whatever was necessary to provide for his family. He was an extremely humble and honest man. The love and consideration he had for his family was often expressed and will be sorely missed. There wasn't anything that he wouldn't do for his wife and his daughters. His devotion and dedication to family and friends was immeasurable. He had special relationships with so many people and all who knew him are quick to recall how fond and proud he was of all his family and how much he loved them.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 20, 2016 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.
