Our beloved Pedro Flores III, born on December 20, 1956 in Alice, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father to dance with the angels on Tuesday, November 1, 2016. He was a long time resident of Manor, Texas. Pedro proudly served our country in the United States Navy, receiving military awards and an honorable discharge. He celebrated 15 years working at the State Comptroller's Office. Mr. Flores was preceded in death by his father, Pedro Flores, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife, Norma Ruiz Flores; his mother, Elvira Flores; his sons, Justin and Kristopher Flores; step-sons, Joshua and Latoya Patterson, and Rodney and Mariam Patterson; and his sister, Lucy Flores, as well as grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and numerous other loving family and friends. Honored Pallbearers will be Fernando Flores, Hernaldo Gonzalez, Frank Flores, Jr., Justin Flores, Kristopher Flores, Raphael Rodriguez, Omar Acuña, and Fernando Vargas Avila. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas. Graveside Services will begin at 10:30 a.m., Monday, November 7, 2016 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Naval Honors.
