Our Beloved Sylvia Cavazos Carver, age 69, of Pasadena, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, October 31, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Esequiel and Francesca Cavazos and her husband of 39 years, Tommy Lanier Carver, whom she loved in a biblical sense.
She is survived by her son, Reynaldo (Julie) Flores; daughter, Mistelle (Efren) Garcia; daughter, Tommie (Rick) Stanley; brother, Albert Cavazos; brother, Carlo Cavazos, Sr.; sister, Raffaela Lita (Joe) Garcia and her 6 precious grandchildren. She is also survived by her beloved Godson, Carlo (Callie) Cavazos, II.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 12:00 p.m. and Funeral Services to begin at 12:30p.m., on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Albert Cavazos, Carlo Cavazos II, Joe Garcia, Joey Garcia, Rick Stanley, Efren Garcia, and Brian Garcia.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Carlo Cavazos, Sr. and Reynaldo Flores.
Flower deliveries will be accepted all day Friday, November 4, 2016 at the funeral home.
