Our Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Mrs. Adelita Constancio Hernandez was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at the age of 71. Our mom was preceded in death by her father and mother, Pedro and Teofelia Constancio, and her brothers, Andres Constancio, Santos Constancio, Enes Constancio. She is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, John Hernandez, six children, John G. Hernandez and wife, Frances, daughter, Cynthia M. Saldana and husband, Adam, son, Jaime Hernandez, daughter, Zenaida Hernandez, son, Joseph D. Hernandez and wife, Amanda, son, Javier J. Hernandez and wife, Alexis, all of Austin, Texas; 16 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, sisters, Felipa Rodriguez, Mary Mireles, brothers, Pete, Jr., Amarante, Juan, Urbano, Abelino, Simon Constancio. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the doctors and palliative care unit at Brackenridge Hospital for their exceptional care of Adelita. Pallbearers will be Joseph Hernandez, Adam Saldana, Jesse James Hernandez, Ernest Rodriguez, Javier Hernandez, Anthony Saldana, Michael Hernandez, and John Paul Hernandez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Johnny Hernandez, Jaime Hernandez, and Jaime Hernandez, Jr. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, October 24, 2016 with Recitation of Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 25, 2016, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Austin, Texas. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
