Our beloved Juanita “Janie” Cano, age 68, resident of Del Valle was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, October 14, 2016. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ismael Cano; her son, Ricky Cano; her grandson, Eric Anthony Perez, her parents, Pedro and Francisca Martinez, her baby sister, Stefani, and her sister-in-law, Janie Martinez. Janie is survived by her beloved daughter, Michelle Perez and husband, Louis “Big Lou”; seven grandchildren, Joey Hidrogo, Michael Rey Perez, Cierra Cano, James Louis Moncada, who was raised as her own, Priscilla Marie Perez, and Audrey Nicole Perez; seven great-grandchildren, Eric Haros, Josiah Haros, Aden Haros, Jarren Haros, Alyssa Moncada, Brien Loyola, and Celena Cano; her brothers, Pedro “Pete” Martinez and wife, Sylvia, Orlando “Landy” Martinez and Ernesto “Neto” Martinez; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 19, 2016 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 20, 2016, Cristo Rey Catholic Church, Robert T. Martinez St. and 2nd St., Austin, Texas.
