Our Beloved Josephine Garcia Govea, age 75, of Austin, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, October 15, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fidel and Trine Gasca, and her brothers, Frank, Jesse, and Fidel “Junior” Gasca.
Josephine is survived by her loving husband, Frank Govea; her children, Alice Cruz and husband, Ricky; Robert Lopez and wife, Dalia; Richard Lopez and wife, Linda; Annette Lopez; Ray Lopez and wife, Eleanor; Angie Dudley and husband, Jeff, and John Paul “JP” Lopez; her sisters, Carmen Lopez and husband, Jesse; Mary Hernandez and husband, Esaul; Helen Gasca, and Minnie Salazar and husband, Louis; her brothers, Tony Gasca and Johnny Gasca; 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 21, 2016 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas. Eulogies and Remembrances will heard after Rosary.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the Funeral Home. This will conclude the services at this time for Mrs. Josephine Govea.
