Our beloved Jesse De La Cruz, Sr., age 57, resident of Austin fell asleep in death on Wednesday, October 5, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his father, Juan De La Cruz, Sr. and his sister, Rosario Gonzales
Jesse is survived by his wife of 36 years, Melinda Garcia De La Cruz; his beloved children, Jessica De Leon, Jesse De La Cruz, Jr., Vanessa Ramos, Vicente De La Cruz, Victoria De La Cruz, and Kristina De La Cruz,; 12 grandchildren; his mother, Maria Luisa De La Cruz; his brothers and sisters, Juan “Johnny” De La Cruz, Jr., Gloria De La Cruz, Mary Ann Perez, and Joe De La Cruz; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
There will be a brief visitation for Mr. De La Cruz on Friday, October 7, 2016, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home Heritage Chapel, 1615 East Cesar Chavez St., Austin, TX 78702. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 10802 Manchaca Rd., Austin, TX 78748. This will conclude the services for Dad.
