Our beloved Janie T. Ruedas, age 89, resident of Austin, was called to our Heavenly Father on Thursday, September 22, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Alberto Ruedas; her children, Rosa Corpus and Daniel Ruedas; her parents, Gumeincindo and Maria Torres; and her brothers and sisters, Mercedes Torres, Jose Torres, Sofia Torres, Justo Torres, Antonia Torres, and Angelina Murillo.
Janie is survived by her loving daughters, Angelina Ybarra and Gloria Ruedas; her sister, Luisa Perez; 13 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
Pallbearers will be April Nicole Benavidez, Raymond Charles Munoz, Jr., James Anthony Munoz, Dominic Andres Melendez, Jonathan Ybarra, James Albert Munoz, Alexander Isaac Ybarra, Zachary Nicholas Benavidez, and Joshua Ybarra.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Monday, September 26, 2016, Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 South First St., Austin, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Dolores Catholic Church, 1111 Montopolis St., Austin, Texas. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
