Our beloved Horacio Jamie Chavarria, age 73, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, September 17, 2016. He was preceded in death by his step-son, Manuel Torres; his parents, Jose Humberto Chavarria Hernandez and Dolores Jaime Padillo; one sister and two brothers. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Esperanza Chavarria; his children, Alicia Chavarria De Ramirez and husband, Resendo, Horacio Chavarria III, Esperanza Aguillon and husband, Daniel, Joann Sanchez and husband, Marcelo "Tino", Mary Helen Torres and partner, Lupe Mendoza, Martha Perez and husband, Richard, and Darlene Walker and husband, Freddie; 23 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 20, 2016 with Recitation of Holy Rosary being held at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at San Francisco Javier Catholic Church on Hwy. 183. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
