Our Beloved Margaret Fernandez, age 74, of Austin, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, August 28, 2016.
She was preceded by her husband, Domingo Fernandez, Sr. who passed away in 2007; her daughter, Mary Ellen Fernandez; her parents, Manuel and Juanita Sepeda; and her brothers, Richard, Joe, and Benigno Sepeda.
Margaret is survived by her loving children, Juan "Johnny" Fernandez; Patricia Gonzalez and husband, Vicente; Domingo Fernandez, Jr. and wife, Estella; Laura Mendiola and husband, Nemerio; James Fernandez and wife, Milagros; Richard Fernandez and wife, Christina; Adeliada Garcia and Jose Luis Garcia; her sister, Tina Gonzales; her brother, Jesse Sepeda; 32 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home East Chapel, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, September 1, 2016, 10:00 a.m., at Santa Cruz Catholic Church in Buda. The church will be open for final viewing at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
