Our Beloved Maria Del Carmen Carrillo, age 68, of Austin, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, August 18, 2016. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Rafael Baez Carrillo in 2015 and her parents, Antonio Esquivel and Catalina Ramos. Maria is survived by her beloved children, Noemi Carrillo, Raquel Carrillo, Sylvia (Efrain) Sanchez, Diana Imelda (John) Gonzales, and Rafael Carrillo, Jr.; her brothers and sisters, Robert Esquivel, John (Dolores) Esquivel, Rosemary (Carlos) Esquivel, and Guadalupe (Manuel) Esquivel; 11 grandchildren, Valerie Martinez, Raquel Fry, Yolanda Lopez, Jacob Gonzales, Jeremiah Gonzales, Timothy Gonzales, Emerald Baez, Catalina Baez, Antonio Baez, Michael Sanchez, and Marisa Sanchez; 3 great-grandchildren, Mariah Fry, Alyanna Lopez, Cielo Lopez; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Honored Pallbearers will be Jose Salinas, Efrain Sanchez, Jacob Gonzales, Johnny Gonzales, Carlos Martinez, and Jerry Gonzales. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 21, 2016 with a Prayer Service beginning at 6:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas. A Funeral Service will be held Monday at 10:00 a.m., at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Joe Alaniz III. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
