Our beloved, Telesforo Chavez Casarez, age 67, was called to our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 surrounded by the love of his family. He is preceded in death by his mother and father Severo Casarez and Concepcion Chavez and his brothers, Juan Casarez, Felipe Casarez, Manuel Casarez, and Natividad Casarez. Telesforo is survived by his loving wife of 11 years, Rosa "Rosie" Soliz Casarez; his children, Cynthia Casarez, Rosa (Jose) Barcenez, Jose (Velia) Vigil, Ernestina Diaz, Domingo (Lisa) L. Velesquez, and Christopher (Tencia) Velasquez; his brothers and sisters, Antonio Casarez, Albert (Adelina) Casarez, Severo (Doris) Casarez, Jr., Eldifonsa (John) Duran, Vincenta Villanueva, Janie Lopez, Felipa Orta, and Martina Murray; 15 beloved grandchildren, one great grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. Honored Pallbearers will be Alex Casarez, Miguel Casarez, Jose Vigil, Jr., Jose Vigil III, Zach Castro, Christopher Velasquez, and Nekoli Velasquez. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Monday, August 22, 2016 with Recitation of Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S. First St., Austin. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
