Our beloved Susan Ann Serrano Saldivar, age 55, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, August 7, 2016. She was preceded in death by her father, Manuel E. Serrano, and her sister-in-law, Christine Serrano.
Susan is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Jose “Joe” Saldivar; her children, Anthony (Stephanie Maldonado) G. Villanueva, Monique (Patrick) Villanueva Gonzalez, and Jose Manuel Saldivar, Jr.; her grandchildren, Alexa Villanueva, Aliah Villanueva, Sophia Villanueva, Yaneyce Gonzalez, Yzabella Gonzalez; her brothers and sisters, Rosemarie Gonzales, Joel (Rosie) Serrrano; Beatrice (Robert) Estrada, Christine Serrano, and Manuel Serrano, Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Joe Saldivar, Joe Saldivar, Jr., Patrick Gonzalez, Robert Estrada, Manuel Serrano, Jr., and Joel Serrano. Honorary Pallbearer will be Anthony Villanueva.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 10, 2016 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, 10:00 a.m., St. Julia Catholic Church, Tillery St., Austin, Texas. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
