Our beloved Mary A. Tello Menchaca, age 72, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, July 30, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sipriano Tello; her son, Hilario “Larry” Castillo; her parents, Pedro and Emilia Castro, and one great grandchild.
Mary is survived by her loving daughters, Patsy Chavez, Rosalinda Reyna and her husband, Alfredo, and Veronica Tello; 15 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren on-the-way; her brothers, Gonzalo Castro and his wife, Maria, Lupe Castro and his wife, Teresa, Pedro “Pete” Castro, Daniel Castro and his wife, Felipa, and Joe Castro; her sisters, Ofelia Castro and Virginia Navarro; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members, and friends.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, August 4, 2016 with a Prayer Service being held at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home (East), 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, 10:00 a.m., San Jose Catholic Church, Austin, Texas. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
