Our beloved Eusevia Mendez, age 88, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, July 29, 2016.
Mrs. Mendez was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leon Mendez; her parents, Esmerajildo and Ramona Cortinas, Jr.; and her brothers and sisters, Julia Posas, Pete Maldonado, Gil Cortinas, Manuel Cortinas, and Juanita “Tita” Perez.
She is survived by her loving children, Chris Martinez and her husband, Richard “Ricky” Sr., Leon Mendez III and his wife, Susan, Diana Herrera and her husband, Ray, Alma Garcia and her husband, Pete; eleven beautiful grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 2, 2016 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church, Austin, Texas. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
