Our beloved Rudy Salazar, age 56, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, July 25, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marcelino and Petra Salazar and his siblings, Christina Martinez, Marcelino Salazar, Jr., Pete Salazar, Sr., Pauline Frias, Dominga Ramirez, Beatrice Ybarra, Amelia Bojorquez, Antonia Salazar, Joe Salazar, Manuel Salazar, Antonio Salazar, Steven Salazar, and Frances Salazar.
Rudy is survived by his brother, Jesse Salazar and his sisters, Helena Sanchez, and Herlinda Mejia.
Pallbearers will be Pete Acosta III, Lawrence Sanchez, Jr., Robert Ellison, Manuel "JR" Salazar, Chris Rios, David Salazar, Jr., and Joe Angel Rangel. Honorary Pallbearers will be Clifford Frias, Jr., Ruben Frias, and Phillip Salazar.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m., Friday, July 29, 2016 with a Funeral Service held at 2:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home (East), 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
