Our beloved Rachel Martinez, age 56, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, July 5, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Rachel Galvez Martinez; her sister, Mary Irene Martinez; and her grandparents, Jose Galvez and Maria Martinez and Felipe Martinez and Conception Gutierrez Martinez.
Rachel is survived by her father, Lino G. Martinez, Sr.; her brothers, Lino G. Martinez, Jr: Robert D. Martinez and his wife, Nora, and Jesse G. Martinez; numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, July 10, 2016 with Recitation of Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, July 11, 2016 at 10:00 a.m., Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 2nd Street and Robert T. Martinez Street, Austin, Texas. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
