Our beloved Trinidad M. Tovar, age 93, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, June 15, 2016. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Refugia Tovar; daughter, Dora Montano; his brother, Agapito Tovar and sister, Augustina Castano. Mr. Tovar is survived by his children, Robert (Mary Inez) Tovar, Margarita (Javier) Alvarez, Dan (Rebecca) Tovar, Linda (Juan) Pantoja, Rebecca (Peter) Flores, and Mary Ruth (Dale) Kimball. He was known as “Pampo” to 17 grandchildren, Michelle Zuniga, Aida Woodford, Javier Alvarez, Jr., Juan Pantoja, Jr., Nicolas Pantoja, Gabriel Pantoja, Roxanne Tovar, Natalie Tovar, Celia Tovar, Sonia Tovar, Peter Flores, Nolando Flores, Antonio Flores, Faith Flores, Alejandro Kimball, Raquel Kimball, and Sofia Kimball; 5 great-grandchildren, Brittany Woodford, James Woodford, Elijah Zuniga, Micah Zuniga, and Sofia Moreno; his brothers, Tomas “Tom” Tovar, Raymundo Tovar, and Felix Tovar, Jr.; his sisters, Feliciana Melchor, Victoriana Eureste, and Cathy Crampton; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Honored Pallbearers will be Juan Pantoja, Jr., Nicolas Pantoja, Gabriel Pantoja, Peter Flores, Nolando Flores, Antonio Flores, Javier Julian Alvarez, and Gabriel Zuniga. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, June 19, 2016 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 6:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas. The Funeral Service will be Monday, 10:00 a.m., Mission Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden Memorial Park.
