Our beloved Santos Ramirez-Rodriguez, age 63, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, May 27, 2016. He was born October 25, 1952 in Jalpan Queretaro, Mexico and passed away surrounded by the love of his family, May 27, 2016 in Austin, Texas. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Josephine Ramirez; his mother, Guadalupe Rodriguez; sister, Juana Ramirez and brother, Aurelio Ramirez. Mr. Ramirez-Rodriguez is survived by his children, Santos (Coreen) Ramirez, Jr., Mario Ramirez, Mary Ann Ramirez, and Vanessa (Gabriel Torres) Ramirez; his father, Simon Ramirez; his siblings, Mundo, Angelica, Mario, Isidora, Guillermina, Octavio, Martin, and Epvelma Ramirez; 8 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 31, 2016 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home (East), 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., at Mission Funeral Home (East). Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
