Our beloved Tomasita M. Torres, age 86, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, May 16, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Santos Torres; her son, Lisandro Torres; her parents, Lisandro and Maria Montalvo; and her brothers and sisters, Candelaria Montalvo, Jovita Montalvo, Maria De Jesus Montalvo, Lisandro Montalvo, Leopoldo Montalvo, and Elpidio Montalvo.
Tomasita is survived by her loving children, Santos Torres, Jr., Florinda (Juan) Villanueva, Jaime (Yolanda) Torres, Alicia (Roberto) Moreno, and Ray (Becky) Torres; her brother, Juan Pedro (Guadalupe) Montalvo; her sister, Micaela Montalvo; 30 beautiful grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, numerous great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 18, 2016 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Mission Funeral Home (East). Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
