Our beloved Laura Ellen Worley, age 78, resident of Austin and Colorado was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, May 12, 2016. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, Eugene Worley; her daughter, Dianne Worley Dotson; her parents, Jacobo and Olivama Medina; and her brother, Ray Medina. Laura is survived by her loving daughters, Linda (John) Lopez and Debra Worley Cortez; her brothers and sisters, all of Colorado, Andrea (Floyd) Pacheco, Steve Medina, Rose (Vernon) Jones, and Connie Medina; eight beautiful grandchildren, Briana (Adam) Caballero, Stephanie (Paul) Garza, Kimberly (Jonathan) Bentley, Krystal (Chase) Foster, Jonathan Arriaga, Ciara Lopez, Jacob Abraham Lopez, and Alissa Record and 10 great grandchildren, Adam Caballero, Jr., Jacob Ray Caballero, Christian Caballero, Liliana Caballero, Paul Garza, Jr., Mya Garza, Brayden Bentley, Brody Bentley, and Jaiden Arriaga. Pallbearers will be Adam Caballero, Sr., Paul Garza, Sr., Chase Foster, Jonathan Bentley, Mike Resa, Jonathan Arriaga, Adam Caballero, Jr., and Jacob Ray Caballero. Hornorary Pallbearers will be Christian Caballero, Jacob Abraham Lopez, and Paul Garza, Jr. The family would like to express their sincerest appreciation to the nursing and staff members of Heart to Heart Hospice, Southpark Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation, and South Austin Medical Center for their devoted care to Mrs. Worley. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Monday, May 16, 2016 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday at St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church. Services will conclude following the Funeral Service.
