Our beloved Michael Lee Valadez, age 45, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, May 7, 2016. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Richard Valadez; his beloved grandfather, Adam S. Rosales; and brother-in-law, Robert Reyes. Michael is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Eva Valadez; his sons, Michael Anthony Valadez and Joe David Valadez; his parents, Rudy and Christine R. Sontoya; his brother, Rudy (Dora) Sontoya, Jr.; his sister, Norma Jean Sontoya; his grandmother, Mary Rosales; his mother-in-law, Josephine A. Reyes; brothers-in-law, Jerry, Adam and Victor Reyes; sisters-in-law, Cathy Reyes Cadena and Rachel Reyes; numerous nieces and nephews, Gary Zuniga, Crystal Zuniga, Laura Ramirez, Lawrence Ramirez, Matthew Collazo, Frank Collazo, Andrew Reyes, Victoria Reyes, Veronica Reyes, Derek Reyes, Alyssa Reyes, Carly Reyes, Senaida Lopez, Melissa Lopez, Del Lopez, Carlos Lopez, Rudy Sontoya III, Stephanie Sontoya, and Mariah Sontoya and many other family. In addition, he is survived by many friends...from work and from home. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 11, 2016 with a Prayer Service held at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2016. Services will conclude following the Funeral Service.
