Ernest Casarez Rodriguez 1955 - 2016 Our beloved Ernest C. Rodriguez, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, April 26, 2016. He passed peacefully surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Trevinio Rodriguez and Elvira Casarez; his brother, Tomas Rodriguez and his sister, Bertha Reaume. Mr. Rodriguez is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Helen Hernandez Rodriguez; his beloved children, Emily Rodriguez (John Delgado); Ernest Rodriguez, Jr. and his wife, Olivia M. Lopez; Louis Ernest Rodriguez and his wife, Maria; Jennifer N. Rodriguez (Nathaniel Dolbee); Ernestine Rodriguez, and Destiny Rodriguez; his brothers, Lupe Rodriguez and Pete Rodriguez and his wife, Lenora; his sisters, Estella Osorio and her husband, Gilbert, Mary Ann Vasquez and her husband, Roel, and Janie Romero; his grandsons, Ernest “Bubba” Rodriguez III, Jalen T. Rodriguez, Ian M. Rodriguez, Eli L. Rodriguez, and Mateo J. Rodriguez; his granddaughters, Arriana R. Bennett, Jordan N. Rodriguez, and Ellise L. Rodriguez; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Honored Pallbearers will be his two sons, Ernest Rodriguez, Jr. and Louis Rodriguez, his three grandchildren, Ernest Rodriguez III, Jalen T. Rodriguez, and Arriana Bennett, Nathaniel Dolbee, John Delgado, and Adam Govea. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, April 28, 2016 with a Prayer Service held at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 29, 2016 at Mission Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
