Esperanza Medina, born on May 24, 1932, went to be with the Lord on April 6, 2016 at the age of 83. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Guadalupe Medina. She is survived by her children, Victor Manuel Medina Vazquez, Ricardo Medina Vazquez, Jesus Medina Vazquez, Juan Medina Vazquez, Guadalupe Medina Vazquez, Lucia Medina Vazquez, Amanda Medina Vazquez, Ana Luisa Medina Vazquez, Erendira Medina Vazquez; grandchildren, Fabian Solórzano, Geneva Solórzano, Vanessa Palacios, Eric Guajardo, Ericq Olvera, Joracio Olvera, Ereadria Medina, Ricky Medina, Esperanza Medina, Johnny Medina, Ashley Medina, Leo Medina, Jose Medina, Mariana Guajardo, Steven Medina, Jesse Medina; siblings, Jose Vazquez, Teresita Vazquez, as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, with a Rosary to be recited at 11:30 a.m. A chapel service will immediately follow the Rosary. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
