Our beloved Eddie M. Longoria, age 59, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father; passing away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving wife and children on Friday, April 1, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Isidro and Antonia Longoria; his sister, Annie Flores, and brother David Longoria. He is survived by his devoted wife of 35 years, Nanci Longoria; his children, Kevin Edward (Nora) Longoria, and Jason Edward Longoria; his beloved grandchildren, Caden and Alessandra Longoria; his brothers and sisters, Rosie Farias, Norma (Sam) Lopez, Naomi Longoria (Ronnie), Nancy (Juan) Canales, and Danny Longoria; numerous nieces, nephews, other dear family and friends. His achievements are many but his greatest was being a loving husband, father, and doting grandfather. He loved his work as a bookkeeper/tax preparer and will be remembered for his generosity and excellent work he provided to his many clients. Eddie was a Christian man who was loved by his family and was a blessing to everyone who had the chance to meet him. He will be forever missed. The family would like to offer a special Thank You to Dr. Punit Chadha, Texas Oncology staff, St. David’s South Austin Medical Center, and Hospice Austin for their wonderful care. Visitation will begin Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S. First St., Austin. Mass will be Thursday, 10:00 a.m. at St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church, Austin. Services will conclude following Mass.
