Our beloved Josie Salas Cordova, age 70, was called to our Heavenly Father, Sunday, March 20, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Jose “Joe” M. Cordova; parents, Alejos O. and Josefa S. Salas; her brother, Gilbert Salas Sr. and sister, Janie Ojeda and her husband, Rudy.
She is survived by her loving children, Joe S. Cordova Jr. and his wife, Stephanie, John Cordova Sr., Ray Cordova Sr. and his wife, Michelle, and Lee Cordova and his wife, Trina; her sisters Anita Flores and her husband, Jose, Alice Rodriguez and her husband, Mateo, and Rosie Salas; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Mission Funeral Home (East), 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Assumption Cemetery.
