Our beloved Victoriano Castillo Vargas, age 93, resident of Austin, Texas was called to our Heavenly Father, Wednesday, March 16, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Tranquelino and Julia Vargas; and his brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his loving wife, Emerenciana Cervantes; his daughters, Maria Rodriguez, Juana (Jose) Mendez, Celia (Leoncio) Hernandez, Adela (Francisco) Mercado, Maria Luisa (Jesus) Velasquez, Maria Partida, Julia Vargas, Petra Vargas, and Patricia (Jesus) Ramirez; his sons, Victoriano (Sandra) Vargas, Pedro Vargas, Francisco (Thomasa) Vargas, Martin (Deanna) Vargas, Refugio Vargas; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S. First St., with Recitation of Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Episcopal Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 21, 2016 at San Francisco de Asis Episcopal Church, 700 Woodhue Dr., Austin, Texas 78745. Interment will follow Mass at Assumption Cemetery, I35 South, Austin, Texas.
