Our beloved Sam R. Ybarra, age 88, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, February 24, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years, Manuela Ybarra.
He is survived by his children, George Ybarra (Rebecca), Virginia Rangel (Ralph), Brenda Ybarra (Alfonso Jaimes), Angie Flores, Johnny Torres (Connie), Irma Ybarra; 22 grandchildren; 57 great grandchildren; siblings Simona Torres and Laura Lavis, as well as a host of other loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, February 28, 2016 with Recitation of Holy Rosary 6:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 29, 2016 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church 2208 E. Second Street. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
