Angel A. Rivera Sr. “Taco Man” May 29, 1945 to February 15, 2016 Our beloved Angel A. Rivera Sr., age 70, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, February 15, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents Elijio and Angelita Rivera; daughter Annabelle Rivera; bothers Ralph Rivera and Luciano Rivera; sisters Guadalupe Arevalo, Julia Ugalde, Lillie Mae Escalante, and Mary Rivera. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Tina Rivera; children Angel Rivera Jr. (Vicky), Beatrice Rivera, Tina Marie Galvan (Paul), and Michael Anthony Rivera (Blanca); grandchildren Jonathon David Cruz, Krystal Renae Marinero, Nathaniel Edward Rivera, Anna Marie Rivera, Joshua David Tamayo, Jacob Robert Tamayo, Mariah Selena Tamayo, Marissa Nichol Tamayo, Maricela Marie Castro, Ashley Monique Castro, Joseph Alexander Castro, Christian Robert Castro, Sophia Rose Galvan, Ethan Michael Rivera, Asher Keelan Rivera, and Finley Copeland Rivera; great-grandchildren Xavier Ernesto Marinero, Jessiah Rene Marinero, Mercedez Elena Marinero, Zayne Alexander Marinero, Jazlyn Ranee Cruz, Leila Arrana Gomez, Oliver Levi Lopez, and Jacob Robert Tamayo Jr.; brothers Jesse Rivera and Joe Rivera; sisters Lydia Guzman, Juanita Rivera, and Alucemie Najera; and many loving nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Johnathan David Cruz, Nathaniel E. Rivera, Joshua Tamayo, Jacob Tamayo, Joseph Castro, Manuel “RED” Rodriguez, Manuel Escalante, and Sammy Rivera. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Angel Rivera Jr., Michael A. Rivera, Dr. Geremy L. Sanders, Edward Esparza, Zayne Bumpass, Jeremiah Dawson, Eleazar Tamayo, Paul Galvan, Travis Gonzales, Christian Castro, and Armando Muniz.
