Our beloved Pedro R. Lopez, age 90, born in Cuba and resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, February 14, 2016.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Luis Humberto and Maria Elena Lopez; Brother, Luis Lopez; sisters, Veronica Lopez and Thelma Lopez; grandson Gerard Guerrero; and nephew Adolpho Lopez.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Xiomara Lopez; children, Pedro Lopez, Luis Lopez (Violanda), Luz Lopez-Guerrero (John); 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brother in law Fred Westerman (Mary); sisters in law, Concepcion Lafitte (Charles), Victoria Cisneros, and Julia Douglas Canales (Ramon); many loving nieces, nephews, friends and family.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street (South).
Celebration of Life will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
