Our beloved Susie Ybarra, age 79, resident of Bastrop, was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, February 3, 2016. She is preceded in death by her mother, Celia Villarreal; brother Robert Villarreal; Sister, Nancy Ruiz; and her brother Louis Villarreal. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Ray Ybarra; children Cindy Guerrero (Joe), Diana Ellison, Esther Ybarra, Sylvia Ybarra, and Eddie Ybarra; Grandchildren, Larry, Nicole, Chris, Jessica, Michael, Leslie, Susan, and Jonathan; Great-Grandchildren, Kennedy, Michael Lonnie, Josiah, Kane, Brody, and Jaxon; sister Connie Gutierrez (Gabe); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. She retired from Austin Radiological Association. Susie loved baking, cooking for her family, gardening, reading and sewing. Honored to serve as pall bearers are Armando Ruiz Jr, Michael Medina, Jonathan Medina, Chris Ellison, Larry Ellison, Sean Loitz, Mike Trevino, and Steve Guzman. Visitation will be 3:00 pm with Recitation of Holy Rosary 7:00 p.m., Monday, February 8, 2016 at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street (South). Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Ascension Catholic Church at 806 Pine in Bastrop, Texas. Interment will follow at Phelan Cemetery in Bastrop.
