July 19, 1944 to January 22, 2016
Our beloved Rosa Hernandez Gonzalez, age 71, resident of Del Valle, was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, January 22, 2016.
She is preceded in death by her parents Pablo and Henrietta Hernandez; and daughter Mary Selvera; brothers Robert Vasquez, Pablo Hernandez, and Andrew Hernandez.
She is survived by her loving children Eva Gomez (Jose), Henrietta Sanders (Raymond), David De La Cruz (Bertha), Janie Contreras (Jesse), Abran De La Cruz, Arthur J. Gonzalez (Lisa), Irene Gonzalez, Teresa Gonzalez (Armando), and Robert Gonzalez; son-in-law David Selvera; sister Inez Perez; Rudy Hernandez, Lupito Hernandez, Juan Hernandez, Henry Hernandez, and Pete Estrada; many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Serving as Pallbears will be David, Joe, Julian, Eric, Danny, Christopher, Jonathan, Robert, and Abran.
Visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m., with Recitation of Holy Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 25, 2016 at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2016, Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery.
