Our beloved Annie Gonzales, age 77, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, January 18, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eligio and Eloisa Zertuche; her son, Eligio Gonzales; and two sisters, Juanita Martinez and Aurora Zertuche.
Annie is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Jose “Joe” Gonzales; her children, John Gonzales and his wife, Victoria, Joe Gonzales and his wife, Rachel, Daniel Gonzales, and Patricia Gonzales; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Angelina Cervantes and her husband, Jesus, Eva Garza, Elida Zertuche, and Yolanda Zertuche; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, January 21, 2016 with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, E. 2nd St. and Robert T. Martinez. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
