Aurelia Martinez Our beloved Aurelia Martinez, age 88, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on January 17, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband Faustino Martinez Sr., her son George, her parents & her 7 siblings. She is survived by her children: Maria Mendoza (Adislado (Al)), Susan Rivera (David), Linda Camarillo (Ignacio Jr.), Lillian Alaniz, Sylvia Cooper (Jack), and Faustino Martinez Jr. Aurelia is also survived by her nephews Ben Gallardo, Pete Morales, Greg Martinez, and Conrad Martinez Jr.; 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Our family would like to thank the staff of St. David’s Medical Center (ICU, Neurology, and Rehab) for their excellent and compassionate care of our Mother during her hospitalization. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 426 St. John Street Gonzales, TX 78629.
