Jesse Joe Corpus Sr. September 12, 1938 to January 16, 2016 Our beloved Jesse Joe Corpus Sr., age 77, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, January 16, 2016. Jesse was born and raised in Austin, a true Austinite. He is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Esther Corpus; sister Ramona Corpus; and brothers Julius and Jimmy Corpus. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Linda Corpus; children Michelle Corpus and Jesse Joe Corpus Jr.; grandchildren Jesse Joe Corpus III, Sabrina Corpus, Dillon Corpus, Christina Corpus Torres, Brandon Corpus, and Breana Corpus; great-grandchildren Noah Joe Corpus, Jianna T. Ojeda, Reyna R. Corpus-Gonzalez, Lillyana A. Corpus-Gonzalez, Ramiro K. Corpus-Gonzalez III, Analicyah R. Rodriguez, Dakota I.R. Rubio, Xavier J. Rubio, Adrian X. Torres, Eliza Torres, and Delilah D. Corpus; sisters Mary Esther Corpus Torres, Rosa Corpus Miranda, Julia Corpus Ledesma, Dora Corpus, Gloria Corpus Howe, and Josephine Corpus Warren; many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at 4:00 p.m., with Recitation of Holy Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2016 at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street (South). Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 22, 2016, St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church 126 W. Oltorf Street. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery.
