Our beloved Minerva De Leon, age 80, resident of Kyle, was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, Wednesday, January 6, 2016. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Ciro and Estela Casaras; her brother, Leonardo Alejandro; and her sister, Maria Alejandro. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Eriberto de Leon Sr; daughters, Maria Guadalupe De La Cruz of Lockhart, Texas, Mary Stella Esquievel of Kyle, Texas, Elba De Leon-Sierra of Kyle, Texas; sons, Heriberto De Leon Jr of Austin, Texas, Christobal De Leon of Lockhart, Texas; Brothers, Guadalupe Casaras of Herdford, Texas, Ciro Casaras Jr. of Herford, Texas, Mike Casaras of Herdford, Texas, David Casaras of Herdfor, Texas, Adrian Alejandro of Chicago, Illinois; sisters, Elva Castillo of Herdford, Texas, Leticia Casaras of Arizona, Sylvia Cardenas of Herdford, Texas, Gloria Alejandro of Chicago, Illinois, Olga Alejandro of Mexico, Dora Alejandro of Mexico. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, January 10, 2016 with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m., Los Angeles Funeral Home at 300 Cheatam Street in San Marcos, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 11, 2016 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Kyle, Texas. Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Memorial Park in Martindale, Texas.
