Our beloved Rosa Arriaga, age 96, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, December 23, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Reyes and Nicanora Arriaga and eight brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her beloved children, Adam and Eva Arriaga; Ruben Arriaga raised as a son; brothers, Reyes and Jesse Arriaga, 14 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, December 27, 2015 with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, at Dolores Catholic Church, 1111 Montopolis Dr., Austin. Interment will follow at Elgin Latin Cemetery, Elgin, Texas.
Honored pallbearers will be Ruben, Richard and Rudy Cantu and Adam Jr., Adam Anthony, and Adam Sr. Arriaga.
