Our beloved Raquel Marie Escalante, age 21, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, December 16, 2015.
Raquel is survived by her beautiful children, Ezequiel Perez, age 4, and Elliana Perez, age 2; her father and mother, Richard Escalante and Ana Martinez and step-father, Daniel Sepeda; her grandmothers, Maria Escalante, Dora Martinez, and Nicolasa Baron; her brothers, Alfred, John and James Valadez and Frankie Torres and step-sisters, Jackie and Danielle Sepeda; numerous aunts and uncles, other family members and friends.
Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, December 20, 2015 with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St. A Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
