Our beloved Virginia A. Garcia, age 81, resident of Elgin was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, February 12, 2001. Survivors include: Beloved Husband; Gavino Garcia, Sr. of Elgin, Daughters; Eloisa Elizondo, Mary Lou Ramirez, Gloria Rivera and Angie Pineda of Elgin and Austin, Son; Jesse Garcia, Rudy Garcia, Gavino Garcia, Jr. and Joe Garcia all of Elgin. She is survived by 28 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren
Recitation of rosary 7:00pm Thursday at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11:00am Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. William Elliott will officiate. Interment will follow in Jones Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jerry Garcia, Gavino Garcia, III, Louis Aguilar, Robert Elizondo, Joel Elizondo and Manuel Sanchez.
