Trinidad Garza Lopez, age 81, born and raised in Austin Texas , passed away peacefully on December 4, 2015, after a long illness. She was a loving, devoted, supportive wife and mother. Trini will always be remembered for her generosity, kindness, hospitality, keen wit and sense of humor. She is preceded in death by her parents Encarnacion and Petra M. Garza. She leaves behind her loving husband of 56 years Joe A. Lopez Sr and their children; Renee Lopez, Joe A. Lopez Jr (Kelly), Mary Jane Lopez Olivas (Paul), Richard Lopez (Monica). She also leaves her Devoted sister and best friend Amelia Estrada, along with six grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and her nieces Janette, Rosie and JoAnn. The Lopez family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Hospice Austin for all their care and support. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 9, 2015 with Recitation of Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S. First St. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, December 10, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1206 E. Ninth St. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
