Our beloved Jerry “PoPo” Rodriguez, age 58, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, November 24, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Cayetano Rodriguez and Manuela “Nellie” Sanchez. He leaves to mourn his death, his loving wife of over 40 years Mary; his beloved children, Christina Marie (Jose) Hernandez, Cayetano “Jerry” (Mirna) Rodriguez Jr., Rene Lee Rodriguez, Richard Rodriguez, and David Edward (Mary) Rodriguez; 20 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; his brothers and sisters, Mary C., John (Gloria), Mary H (Gilbert), Richard, Martina, and Elizabeth (Joe) Rodriguez; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, November 26 with Recitation of Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S. First St.
Mass of Christian Burial Friday 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 1206 E. Ninth St.. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
