Our beloved Edmund Schmidt, age 58, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Edmund Sr. and Annamarie Schmidt. He is survived by his loving children, Mark Schmidt, Melissa (Joshua) Slocum, Jason (Stephanie Martinez) Schmidt, Michelle Schmidt, and honorary daughter, Diana Anzaldua; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-granchild; his brother and sisters, Donna Schmidt, Natasha (Carl) Turner, and Joseph Schmidt; numerous nieces and nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday November 27, 2015 at with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St. Services will conclude following visitation with private memorial services held at a later date.
